How It's Made

Our process is rooted in tradition, using wooden cold-press (Mara Chekku) methods to retain all the natural goodness.

1

Sourcing directly from farmers

We source groundnut, coconut (sulphur-free), sesame, and castor seeds in bulk directly from local farmers. No middlemen, no compromise on quality.

2

Cleaning the seeds

Every batch goes through a dedicated cleaning process at our mill — removing dust, debris, and waste particles before anything else happens. What goes into the press is clean.

3

Resting the seeds

After cleaning, the seeds are packed in sacks and rested for a period of time. This step is important — rushing it affects the quality of the oil.

4

Wood pressing

The cleaned, rested seeds go into our traditional Mara Chekku for slow extraction. No heat. No chemicals. Just the press doing its work — the way it has always been done.

5

Settling in large containers

The freshly pressed oil is stored in 100-litre containers and left to rest for 3 to 4 days. During this time, the natural sediments slowly sink to the bottom — separating on their own, without any filtering agents.

6

Bottling for you

Once the oil is clear and settled, it is carefully transferred and bottled. What reaches your hands is pure, clean, wood pressed oil — nothing added, nothing removed.
